Celtic knotwork may look like a jumble of interlacing lines to you, but it often hides sacred inscriptions and imagery within its web. Armbands, circles and crosses are the most popular designs for this style, often made entirely in black ink. Some tattoo artists specialize in this style trying to perfect their technique.
